Call of Conscience from Science ‘Earthquakes, Urban Transformation, and Sustainable Cities’ Published

On the anniversary of the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes, one of the greatest disasters in Türkiye's recent history, the comprehensive scientific work titled “Earthquakes, Urban Transformation, and Sustainable Cities,” prepared by TÜBA, was published. The book examines not only the destroyed buildings but also the neglected policies, postponed responsibilities, and social conscience.

'Neither War nor Peace' Meets Readers

The work titled “Neither War nor Peace: The Enduring Conflict of Pakistan and India,” prepared by the TÜBA International Relations Working Group, has taken its place in libraries and has been made available for online access. In order to facilitate accessibility for international academic and diplomatic circles, the study has been published in both English and Turkish. The volume examines the long-standing India–Pakistan tension between two nuclear-armed states through its historical, political, and strategic dimensions.

TÜBA has published a new work titled Sustainable Economy and Finance in the Age of Global Transformation: Governance, Policies, and Technologies, which addresses the sustainability agenda from an economic and financial perspective. Edited by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bulut and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cem Korkut, the book aims to contribute to current discussions on the economic and financial dimensions of sustainability within an interdisciplinary framework.
