TÜBA Young Academy Visits the Young Scientists Network - Academy of Sciences Malaysia
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mürsel Doğrul, President of the TÜBA Young Academy, paid a courtesy visit to the Young Scientists Network (ASM).
During the visit, which was conducted with the aim of strengthening international cooperation among young academies, potential opportunities for collaboration between the Turkish Young Academy and the Young Scientists Network were discussed. The meeting, attended by the President of the Young Scientists Network - Academy of Sciences Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Mai Chun Wai; Board Member Prof. Dr. Anwar P. P. Abdul Majeed; and academy staff, began with an opening address by Ms. Dharshene Rajayah, Head of the ASM International Relations and Communications Department. The session, which began with introductory presentations by both academies, featured an exchange of information regarding the structures, activities, and initiatives undertaken by the Young Academies of Malaysia and Türkiye.
Doğrul presented two significant TÜBA publications—“Science Diplomacy for Global Challenges” and “The Istanbul Museum of the History of Science and Technology in Islam”—to Mr. Hazami Habib, CEO of the Malaysian Academy of Sciences, accompanied by greetings from TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker.
