Prof. Dr. Sadık Kakaç, who explained that other renewable energy sources which are practical in producing electrical energy now, such as hydraulic potential (HES), bio-mass, geothermal energy, wind energy, solar energy, solar batteries (PV), tidal power, ocean thermal power, ocean waves) are being examined, presented the developments on renewable energy in other countries after which the work that has been done to date on this subject and the current situation and the steps to be taken towards the future were discussed. In the conference where the measures that need to be taken to ensure sustainability in energy and the environment and diversity of energy was emphasized, a discussion platform was created in which other participants were included to exchange ideas on other energy sources, especially nuclear energy.
