The Uzbek Ambassador to Ankara Visited TÜBA

Ilham Haydarov, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Ankara, visited the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA). During the meeting, Haydarov met with TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker and presented him with a copy of the book Amir Timur and His Legacy, a work on one of the most significant figures in Uzbek history and culture.

During the visit, detailed discussions were held regarding opportunities for cooperation between the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and the Union of National Academies of Sciences of the Turkic World, as well as ongoing joint projects. The parties agreed on the need to strengthen scientific research and academic cooperation.

The President of TÜBA expressed his satisfaction with the visit and emphasized the importance of increasing opportunities for scientists from both countries to share experiences and collaborate on projects. Ambassador Haydarov also stressed that academic cooperation holds strategic value for the Turkic world.
