2023 METU Prof. Dr. Mustafa N. Parlar Education and Research Foundation Award to TÜBA Young Academy Members
TÜBA-GEBİP Award winners; Prof. Dr. Göktuğ Karpat, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sündüs Erbaş Çakmak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mert Gür, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Acar, Dr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamdi Dibeklioğlu were awarded the "METU Prof. Dr. Mustafa N. Parlar Education and Research Foundation Award" for 2023.
Prof. Dr. Mübeccel Demirekler from Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering received the Service Award, which is given to scientists who have made a significant contribution to science at the international level with their scientific studies and research, or who have made a significant contribution to the development of the country with their scientific findings.
The Research Incentive Award, given to young researchers under the age of 40 who have contributed to the development of a scientific field through their research or have assisted in solving national problems in that field, has been awarded to the following TÜBA GEBİP Award recipients: Prof. Dr. Göktuğ Karpat from the Department of Physics at Izmir Economics University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sündüs Erbaş Çakmak from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Necmettin Erbakan University (NEU), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mert Gür from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ahmet Acar from the Department of Biological Sciences at Middle East Technical University (METU), Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Hamdi Dibeklioğlu from Bilkent University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saniye Söylemez from NEU, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Eren Günseli from the Department of Psychology at Sabancı University, and Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Onur Özcan from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Bilkent University.
