TÜBA Founding Member Prof. Dr. Mustafa Safran was Elected as UNESCO National Committee Management Board Member
He was elected as General Assembly Delegate from Public Agencies and Institutes list of Turkey Sciences Academy in the 26th General Assembly of UNESCO Turkey National Committee held on May 17, 2014.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Safran, who is also TÜBA Founding Member was elected as “UNESCO Turkey National Committee Management Board Member” as result of election.
UNESCO Turkey National Commission 26th General Assembly held in Gazi University Rectorate Building Mimar Kemalettin Hall elected 26th Term Management Board and Supervisory Board Members as well as 27th Term General Assembly Workers to work between 2014 and 2018.
In the morning session of General Assembly which started with opening speeches, Executive Board was constituted with the presidency of Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Nabi Avcı and the General Assembly which evaluated the submitted proposals elected Associate Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin; undersecretary of National Education Ministry, and Salih Çelik, vice undersecretary as vice chief of council and elected Prof. Dr. Mustafa Safran and Assistant Prof. Dr. Dilek Türkyılmaz as Secretary Members as a result of the votes given.
