Visit to TÜBA by Viktor Matis, Hungary’s Ambassador to Ankara

Hungary’s Ambassador to Ankara, Viktor Matis, paid a visit to TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker. President Şeker thanked Ambassador Viktor, who is preparing to bid farewell to Ankara upon completing his term, for his contributions to the friendship and scientific cooperation between Türkiye and Hungary, and wished him success in his new post.

During the meeting, discussions focused on potential collaborations between Türkiye and Hungary in the fields of science, higher education, and academic cooperation, as well as on science diplomacy between the two countries. President Şeker emphasized that Ambassador Matis had made significant contributions to the development of relations between Türkiye and Hungary during his term in Türkiye. The parties exchanged views on strengthening inter-academic cooperation, increasing joint scientific activities, and fostering contacts among researchers.
