TÜBA President and Members Visited TÜBA Honorary Member Prof. Sezgin
TÜBA President Prof. Ahmet Cevat Acar and TÜBA Council Members Prof. Muzaffer Şeker and Prof. Fahrettin Keleştemur visited TÜBA Honorary Member Prof. Fuat Sezgin on January 27, 2017.
Prof. Acar also visited The Museum of History of the Arabic-Islamic Sciences, founded in Frankfurt by Prof. Sezgin and exhibited about 900 models of instruments and devices covering 15 fields including astronomy, mathematics, geography, physics and chemistry and met with Prof. Sezgin.
In the meeting, a consensus was reached on the translation of the book "Science and Technology in Islam" written by Sezgin published by TÜBA into English.
