2024 TÜBA-TEKNOFEST Doctoral Science Awards Applications are Now Open
Applications for the TÜBA-TEKNOFEST Doctoral Science Awards, which were initiated by TÜBA three years ago, will continue until March 15 for 2024 via www.t3kys.com.
TÜBA, whose main duties include ensuring the dissemination of scientific approach and thought in society and encouraging young scientists, continues to reward scientists in order to increase qualified human resources trained in all fields, with the TÜBA-TEKNOFEST PhD Science Awards, which was established in 2021, prepared specifically for the priority areas of TEKNOFEST. Applications for the award program, which is implemented at the national level to encourage, support and honor doctoral dissertations on technology and design, information and communication technologies, education, health, agriculture and ecology technologies and biotechnology, and international relations, development policies, educational approaches, security policies of the national technology move, can be made by TÜBA Members, YÖK, TÜBİTAK, TÜSEB and University Rectorates as well as individually.
Within three years prior to the year in which TEKNOFEST is organized; PhD thesis applications, whose defence was completed between 2021-2023, are evaluated in terms of including the topics related to the thematic program announced by TÜBA for TEKNOFEST competition areas and the publications, patents, products and scientific activities resulting from the thesis. Candidates who have previously applied for the award can apply again, provided that they indicate and document additional new publications, patents and products related to their theses in their scientific files, and provided that they have completed their theses in the years announced in the application requirement.
Within the scope of the Award Program, 75,000 Turkish Liras will be awarded to the first thesis author, 60,000 to the second and 50,000 to the third for the year 2024.
