This work is a comprehensive academic study that examines the new challenges and regulatory needs arising from artificial intelligence technologies in the legal field from the perspective of various legal disciplines. Prepared with contributions from leading scholars in the field, the book examines fundamental issues such as the definition and components of artificial intelligence systems, regulatory approaches developed under the European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Act, regulatory sandboxes, and the decentralization of artificial intelligence agents. In addition, the legal challenges posed by artificial intelligence in various fields, including private law, criminal law, intellectual property law, data protection law, banking law, and the digitalization of public services, are discussed in detail.
