Biodiversity, Agriculture And Food
There is a significant loss of biodiversity worldwide for a variety of reasons (invasive species, landuse, climate change, over-exploitation, etc.). The major driving force behind this loss is humankinditself. In recent years, various activities have been carried out by governments and non-governmentalorganizations to raise awareness on biodiversity and to keep the issue alive. Very important studiesare also being carried out at the level of ministries, especially universities, on this issue and nationalpolicy is being shaped. In fact, biodiversity is known as the most important natural resource andpriceless wealth that countries possess. The effective use of this natural resource in the interests ofthe country is indisputably of great importance.
