TÜBA Associate Member Prof. Bakırdere Elected Advisor to RSC
TÜBA Associate Member and Yıldız Technical University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Sezgin Bakırdere was elected a Fellow Member by The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).
Founded in 1841 and headed by Thomas Graham, RSC has been honoring scientists who have made significant contributions to the science of chemistry, and who have strategic and original studies for many years, by electing them as consultant members. Prof. Dr. Sezgin Bakırdere said that he was proud to be selected as a Consultant Member as a result of the evaluation made by the referee committee, which included the world's most successful scientists. He also informed The Times Newspaper that the "Consultant Member RSC" member list was officially announced.
