The Union of National Academies of Sciences of the Turkic World Summer School On “International Law, Diplomacy and Cooperation”
The last nomination date for “The Union of National Academies of Sciences of the Turkic World (TUBAB) - Summer School on International Law, Diplomacy and Cooperation” that will be organized by TÜBA at the “2018 Cultural Capital of the Turkic World – Kastamonu is June 9th, 2018.
TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar said that the selection of Kastamonu as the 2018 Cultural Capital of the Turkic World by TÜRKSOY is an important event for our country and the Turkic World and that it is important to contribute and support the activities to be held in this context.
Prof. Acar continued his words as: “As TÜBA, we decided to organize some scientific activities in Kastamonu, which was chosen as the “2018 Cultural Capital of the Turkic World” by TÜRKSOY. In this context, we will hold the second five-day summer school –the first was held at TÜBA-Rabi Madrasah at our term presidency of The Union of National Academies of Sciences of the Turkic World (TDUBAB) that was founded in 2015 by the science academies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Bashkortostan and Tatarstan last year-, at the “2018 Cultural Capital of Turkic World – Kastamonu”. We aim to contribute to the cooperation between the scholars and experts of the sister, neighbor and close countries as well as to the tradition of the Cultural Capital of Turkic world by the summer school to that the scientists and academicians study on this field will attend.”
The summer school planned for scientists, young experts at public and private sector, graduate students and academicians have international relations and law background who will be offered by TDUBAB member academies and region academies, will be held at Kastamonu University under the organization of “2018 Cultural Capital of Turkic World – Kastamonu.” Experts and experienced academicians will provide courses on topics such as “The basis of international law, cooperation in the fields of technology, development and environment, friendly settlement of disputes, international organizations, and cooperation, regional issues”.
Applicants who are competent in one of the social sciences and studying in related fields with strong abilities in English should send their resumes with the motivation and reference letters with their resumes for Summer School to summerschool@tuba.gov.tr by 9 June 2018.
